DONORS NEED IMMEDIATELY!

People need people, make a difference in someone’s life by donating blood. When there is a blood shortage, surgeries can be delayed, treatments and therapies needed for cancer patients are triaged, and emergency/accident victims are at severe risk. Please choose to donate so our fellow Hoosiers (our neighbors, friends, family) have what they need to survive.

Before a donation, please be sure to:

• Eat a well-balanced meal beforehand (avoid excessive caffeine)
• Stay hydrated before and after your donation
• Utilize VersiPASS earlier in the day of your donation to complete online, preliminary questions and bring printed or mobile confirmation to your appointment (versiti.org/versipass)
• Bring your photo ID
• Know the names and dosages of any medications you take
• Know dates of any out of country travel in the last 3 years
• Remember your single donation can impact THREE patient lives
